Bhavin heads the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) team and specialises in Trademarks. He has experience of working in Boutique IPs Firms as well as some of the biggest corporate law firms in India. He has worked in Singapore for a period of five years, and has experience of managing a team of IP Professionals. He has not only gained local, but regional and international experience of working on matters involving IP laws in various jurisdictions. Bhavin has managed IPR portfolios for various clients ranging from Start-Ups to Multi-National Companies. He has been extensively advising on Prosecution, Registration, Enforcement and Commercial Exploitation of Trademark Rights in India and the ASEAN Region. He has been regularly dealing with contentious matters, including Oppositions, Cancellations, Invalidation, Revocation Actions, as well as Infringement, Passing Off and Enforcement actions. He routinely advises and has secured international registration of Trademark Rights through the Madrid System. He has independently handled various Intellectual Property related due diligence for Mergers, Acquisitions, and Private Equity transactions.
